Adriana was rescued back in 2023, Adriana loves to chill and hang out at her favorite spot. When you first meet her, she may seem like a very shy and quiet girl, but stick around a bit and you’ll find she just loves to take her time to get to know new people.

Once she warms up to you, this introverted soul will allow you to pet her as much as you can. Adriana is a great match for someone who is looking for a calm, collected, and utterly sweet companion.

Adoption FAQ

Can I return my adopted pet if I change my mind?

A pet is a lifetime commitment. However, if you truly can’t keep your adopted pet, please don’t abandon them on the streets or with strangers. Please return them to us so we can find another home for them.

Can my adoption application get denied?

Yes. Some reasons for denied applications include: Not being able to keep their pet indoors, incompatibility with the household, plus other circumstances that may be damaging to the health, safety, and happiness of our shelter animals.

I live in the province/abroad. Can I still adopt?

Yes, but special arrangements need to be made for the meet-and-greet, depending on your location. Please contact us to discuss your options. You may also opt to adopt from your local pound instead.

Why is there an adoption fee?

The adoption fee is a token of your commitment and and a demonstration of your financial capacity to care for a pet. P500 for cats / P1000 for dogs is a small price which already covers your pet’s spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations and tick+flea treatment.

Can I adopt more than one pet?

Some applicants may be approved to adopt more than one pet on a case to case basis, but especially if the animal you wish to adopt belongs to a bonded pair.

Is he chonky or is he just fluffy? In Donner’s case, he’s definitely both! Donner and his littermates like Blitzen were rescued back in 2022 and named after Santa’s reindeers.

While he tends to be a little shy at first and won’t usually seek out new visitors on his own, he absolutely love pets and cuddles when visitors approach him. Once Donner gets to know you, he might even return the favor and make the first move. While the original Donner helps Santa deliver his gifts to those deserving, our sweet Donner is still waiting at the shelter for the one gift every rescue deserves: a forever home.

Athena is one of the oldest cats at ÌÇÐĶ̾ç. Originally a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) kitten from a partner university, she was admitted into the ÌÇÐĶ̾ç shelter back in 2015.

Since then, Athena has been hoping to get adopted and to know how it is like to have her own family and home. She’s a feline goddess with her beautiful eyes and often likes to watch the world from a pedestal. Many of her peers seek her infinite wisdom, and she encourages them to take plenty of naps and only eat when they’re hungry as she does.

There are times when this sweet senior can be introverted but, she’s just a gentle little lady who’s always open to sharing her prudence and receiving some love in return.

For many, the COVID pandemic might’ve been a time where everything felt like it was in a standstill. For others, it was defined as a period of change, good or bad. During that time, 3 kittens decided to follow one of ÌÇÐÄ¶Ì¾ç’ adult feral cats, Junior, to the shelter. It was as if they knew that Junior was going to be the one who would be able to get them the help that they needed.

At the shelter, the kittens were rehabilitated and have since then been waiting for the right people to adopt them. One of these kittens is Aida, a beautiful white and black cat who has transformed into a rather calm soul who prefers to relax. She gets along with other cats too and is looking forward to having a loving family she can call her own.
